Our server's art chat has its own rules for quality of life. Art chat rules are more stringent than our other channels because guests are required to say something nice about the last thing posted. That can get tiring if it's lots of WIPs or derpy napkin sketches. This is why we also allow you to post art in #media, where you can do so more freely.
Art posts should be NEW art made by you. As in finished within the last few days!
Wait fifteen minutes after the last person posted art to post yours. (not fourteen minutes- truly fifteen!).
Say something nice about the last art post before posting yours. (More meaningful than random observation comments like 'snake boy!' or emojis). If someone already has, you can skip it, but be considerate. Don't be that human that always waits for someone else to do it. Contribute.
Keep discussion related. Hop over to #general or some other channel if it starts to get out of hand.
Keep it pg-13ish. Titties are fine as long as they're tasteful, but use your best judgement when posting gore or violence. Some blood and scribbled in scratches are fine (we all saw Gaston stab Beast) but if it's super graphic, don't post it. If it's worse than a Saturday morning cartoon, don't post it. You can always use the spoiler tag if you're worried the content might be sensitive, but don't use that as a workaround to break rules or try to police its usage by others.

- Sketches are allowed, however please bundle them if you plan to post many in a short time. Staff may have feedback if it appears the content is becoming spammy.
- Go easy on WIPs. Changes should be significant and not just fussing.
- Art should be readable. If it's very difficult to see what's going on, put it in #media.
- Do not post a screenshot of your workspace in #art. Save a preview.
- Thoughtful clay sculptures are also allowed, but other mediums such as photography, pipe-cleaner fun, etc should go into #media. We recognize that these things can be just as creative as drawn art, but have chosen to move them to #media to make managing art chat easier for staff.

(We hope you get salmonella, Gaston.)
Don't get too dark. Vent art is allowed within reason, on the grounds that vent art is often just 'moody' or symbolic- but don't use the server as a vent outlet or make it weird by adding extreme themes, or just using it to get around the no vent rule.
You may post commission ads, but don't spam and remember to follow the fifteen minute rule. Guests are not required to say something nice about commission ads. Adoptables are sketchier. As long as it's something YOU drew or are actively RPing, it's probably fine. But don't use the server as a marketplace.
Players who fail to observe these rules may be moved to a role that is unable to post messages in art chat. Staff is tired. Very tired.

You can also share art in #clubhouse! Clubhouse is where we go to talk about OCs and stories, and sharing art is often part of that. The rules are more lax in clubhouse as long as the art is contributing to conversation somehow. Feel free to share old art of OCs there, art you have commissioned, unfinished sketches of concepts, funny or interesting situations, etc.
